Kambaku Gold Project
Kambaku Gold Project comprises of a Prospecting License, 12336/2023, covering approximately 129.32 km2. The Project is located within the Geita Greenstone which lies immediately to the south of Lake Victoria.
The Geita Greenstone Belt hosts several world class shear-hosted Archean lode gold deposits and forms the northern portion of the regional Sukuma land greenstone beltone of the several belts that comprises the Lake Victoria goldfields. The belt displays two concentric, intermittently developed bands of supra-crustal greenstone rocks.
These are enclosed and surrounded by granitoid intrusions and westernmost part of the megastructure is covered uncomformably by Proterozoic rocks. The regional grab sampling program was recently completed with peak response in soil of 518.5ppb Au (0.5185g/t Au).
The anomalies are sitting proximal to reginal structures which are likely to control gold mineralization in this area.
The Project area is in proximity about 1.5 km to Geita Gold Mines (GGM) with the estimated gold resources of 37.29 million tons grading 3.57g/t Au.
The area is also a host of serious intensive artisanal gold workings indicating the presence of high-grade gold close to surface.
These factors provide the exploration potential for gold in the project area as well as a promising investment opportunity.
